What is your cancellation policy?
Unless due to an emergency, we ask that you please cancel your scheduled visit no later than 8pm the night before. Day of cancellations will be charged a $15 cancellation fee.
Boarding cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled visit. All other cancellations will be charged 20% of the fully scheduled boarding visit. Cancellations not made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled visit during holidays will be charged 50% of their fully scheduled visit.
Will my dog be outside in bad weather?
Absolutely!
Regardless of the weather, dogs have to go out! We may have to shorten outdoor walks and playtime for the safety of both humans and dogs, but time will be spent getting energy out indoors.
What is required to board my dog?

Prior to a new dog boarding at Blue & Honey, we require a meet and greet. As your dog will be welcomed into our home as a family member, we need to determine we are a good fit. Our boarding guests must be dog and child friendly and be up-to-date on vaccines, including bordetella.
How many dogs do you board at a time?
Just yours!
Boarding is private, which means one family’s dog(s) at a time. Your pet becomes an extension of our family pack.
Can I schedule last-minute walks, cat care, or boarding?

We will certainly do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, it just comes down to availability. Please note that all new Clients will be required to complete a short New Client form, and submit vaccine records, prior to participating in our boarding program.
Do you help train puppies or offer any other training services?
We love seeing our pups learn and grow! Although we do not currently offer training services, we DO reinforce basic training and manners with all of our dogs and puppies throughout their time with Blue & Honey. Additionally, if you have any specific training goals you are working on at home that you would like us to incorporate into your dog’s daily routine, please let us know!
What is your service area?
We are currently serving the Garrison, Coldspring, and Nelsonville areas of the Hudson Valley. If you live outside our service area, please give us a call because we may still be able to help!
